IN Bendigo I went underground in a gold mine and worm a cap lamp. We saw gold but didnt get to take it home. We got told how the miners used to sneek some gold home though!. We also did a tram ride around Bendigo and saw some friends from WA. It was good to see Sam and Freyea again!
In Benalla we learnt more about Ned Kelly and Weary Dunlop. We also drove the Howqua River which was awsome, amazine, dusty and untouched. Then we went to Albury/Wadonga. Here we went to the army museum. and saw lots of tanks and got to dress up in Army cloths IN Tumit I cought my first trout. It was a Brown 37 cm long. It tasted really good. There are really good mountains and wild horses! We are now in Jundebyne. Cool! And we can see Mt Ko Hi
We are back in Victoria and on the Muarry river again. It is a bit cool but not raining. We may have a locust problam as the have started to swarm. Yesterday we went to some sanddunes and tried to do sandboarding but it didn't work because the sand was to wet! instead we jumped down the dunes which made the car very sandy. Today we went to "The great walls of China" and sore bones of some sort of animal. Bye from Morgan : P ; ) + This week we have crossed the Nullabour. This a very boring drive. Because it has one of the straight road, and it has no trees in one spot (the Nullabour), it has big cliffs, it has whales sometimes (we saw some on the way over but not this time) and nothing else. We almost hit an Eagle when we were driving and it flew up near or car. It was big.
We are now in Adelaide. Today we went for a ride and saw an echidna walking beside the Thorrens River. Tomorrow we are going to the Adelaide Hills to see the motor muesume I am in Esperance again for a couple of days then we are back off to Kalgoorlie. At AQUA (aqurium of W.A) the tunnel is scary because there are Grey Nurse Sharks and stingrays in it but the one cool thing is that you can touch sharks and stingrays in the touch pool. they feel soft and lumpy.
See ya Morgan!!!! In Perth I went canoeing in the Swan River. This was a lot of fun....if a little cold. We went to the Dragon Cave. They call it the Dragon Cave because of the black makes that look like burn marks around the sides of the cave. I had too much fun doing everything to remember it all.
I am in Dalyalanup and I am having fun. We went to the National Masters Hockey Championships and watched WA Country vs WA State. State won by 2 points. Yesterday I went to a cricket coaching clinic presented by the WA Warriors Cricket Team. It was good to go back to cricket because I miss playing cricket. I learnt lots and lots of new skills and I am now better at aiming and bowling. One hard thing we did was to aim at one wicket with one stump. Today I am going to go and see 'The Last Airbender" with Jack and Lachlan who we are staying with because they are still on holidays. Talk next time Morgan Hello there people. We are talking to you from Perth. We are having a jolly good time in Perth. We are doing lots of things. We have done Scitech. Scitech has lots of cool experiments. You could make a volcano erupt! And marbles go round and round...and they were big marbles. We have also been to the Western Australian Museum. This is a really good museum because it had a lot of information about Western Australia. We went to the Maratine Museum in Freemantle. Here we learnt about the ship wrecks off Perth in the Indian Ocean. We also went to Kings Park which had a big memorial to the war. Hope there are lots more things to do in Perth This is your new blog post. Click here and start typing, or drag in elements from the top bar.
Hello peoples. We are in Adelide and today we went to the Jam Factory to watch them make glass and it was awsome but very hot. Tomorrow we are going to the Zoo to see the pandas. Adelaide is cool We just drove the Great Ocean Road today. It was long and made by the ANZACS when they come back from WW1. They built it with picks and shovels. There was a lot of ships that were ship wrecked along the drive. We saw the Twelve Apostles (11 and a half) They were tall, rocky and sandy. Then we saw the Arch. The Arch had lots of waves whiched crashed against the wall with a loud bang and a big splash. In the water we saw a whale flipper and seals and Dolphins. Hi its just me again. |
